I’m really flattered that you took the time to read about me. Well, my name is Sophia; I was born on October 14th 1993 that means I’m 16 years old. I’m a proud Muslim female and I’m from (and I live) in United Arab Emirates. I was raised in a religious house filled with 4 annoying siblings (3 sisters and 1 brother).

People claim I’m spoiled and selfish, and I can explain the spoiled part: I’m the youngest among all my siblings. As for the selfish part, I’m still working on that .

I was in private schools for 9 years until I moved last year to a public school, I’m really glad I made that decision it made me happy. I tend to over analyze subjects that interest me that sometimes people get really annoyed. I suffer from low confidence when regarding my appearance which is the first thing you will notice about me; as it’s clearly obvious. Due to my low confidence and wild imagination; I created my own world so that I could get away from the pain the real life has caused me. My imagination highly affected me in everything, I became isolated from the real world and I still am. I rather stay in my world of imagination as it is much safer than stay in the real world.

The closest person to my heart is my mother, and this page isn’t enough to describe how grateful I am to have such a mother. After mum comes Amna; my best friend and sister although she’s not a good secret keeper and she’s a big pain sometimes.

I’m more into art than science, and my grades in scientific subjects will highly prove that. Also, my wide imagination that I pour into my writings will prove that as well. I really love literature, I’m not claiming that I’m very good at it, but I will be someday. The biggest battle in my life right now is Art section or Science section, I’m already in science section and I’m almost failing in every subject, I thought about going to the art section next semester, but I can’t study psychiatrist if I enter the art section.

My favorite hobbies are reading and writing. I aspire to publish a book someday. I also used to aspire to be a physicist or doctor, but I understand now that not all dreams come true, and people don’t always get what they want. My dreams to be a psychiatrist aren’t completely shattered though.

Between all those dreams I have a much bigger dream, which might be quite simple to you. I dream of living a simple life away from the city and all that noise, and surrounded by my loved ones.

My biggest fears are: dying and going to Hell, closely followed by losing a tooth.

I can speak 3 different languages.

I’m terribly afraid of heights; I wasn’t like this when I was a child.

I’m obsessed with tea and milk if I don’t get some I get all grumpy.

Arabic is my mother language and I love Arabic literature though it’s very hard.

I’m really sensitive and I tend to think a lot.

I don’t have Facebook, Myspace or Bebo.

I only trust a handful of people.

The first pet I owned was a cat; he ran away. My second pet was a gold fish; I killed her in a day!
