I haven’t been on this web design thing very long, in fact I wouldn’t even call myself a web designer. This little thing that I enjoy doing all started by searching on Google on how to get a free website. The first option that popped up was Freewebs, now named Webs. I made hundred of sites using freeweb’s site builder, I had no idea what HTML meant so this website thing was pretty easy for me and I thought I had the best site in the world, even though I rarely ever got visitors, especially on my site “girlpunkxoxoxo”, now you could see why.

However, pretty soon I saw all those “HTML mood” sites, and I get pretty jealous. So I switched to HTML mode and used premade layouts of Divergente, now named Douxriens. Soon, I was pretty anxious to get hosted, and so I did, by the lovely Aamanda. I named my site designing-amateur, and from there I stopped using celebrity images and learned how to code a layout myself with the help of Yasmine’s coding tutorial and tutorialdash’s Layout Creation, Slicing & Coding tutorial.

After that, I was pretty eager to switch to wordpress, and so I moved to DiTalento which was hosted by the awesome Ashley; a very helpful host. With the help of Ashley and Wendy’s tutorials I was able to use wordpress for the first time with DiTlento.

Soon, I wanted my own domain, so I adopted a domain from Olivia, and here I am, still a beginner who’s hungry for more.
